What a week!

WHAT A WEEK……..

Who have thought that, we as a society would be in the position that we find ourselves in right now. The future is so unknown and we can only take one day at a time. As we write this, we are currently open and it is almost business as usual. The fires are roaring, the beer is cold and the staff are smiling.

We take our position in the community very seriously, so we will try to adapt to this challenging situation. Over the last couple of days we have been discussing how we can adapt and these are some of things that you can expect…..

TAKEAWAY

As of today we will be offering our take away cod and chips, six days a week from 5.30pm. We have put together a menu that has more dishes, including a burger and Glamorgan Sausages. Please visit our website and Facebook page for the menu. In addition to that we hope to have our new wood-fired pizza oven up and running early next week.

We can still offer take away beer, wine and soft drinks. We have also purchased take away coffee cups, should you need a latte fix! If you don’t want to come in to the premises we can bring your order out to your car. The Gwaelod Drive Thru!

THE SHOP

From this Saturday morning at 9am we will be opening up as a small village shop. We will be offering amongst things fresh fruit and vegetables, freshly baked bread and oven ready meals produced by our kitchen team. We hope to add to this list over the coming weeks.

LAZY SUNDAYS

We know how much you all love our Sunday lunches! So as of this Sunday you’ll be able to order and collect our delicious Sunday roasts for you to take home and reheat and enjoy in your own home. Why not have one of our homemade desserts to finish off. Again, you can find details on our website and Facebook page.

DELIVERIES

We have given this a lot of thought and we are currently working on the logistics of this and will keep you posted.

Lastly, if you can think of ways in which we can all work together for the benefit of the community, then please get in touch. We all have to adapt on a daily basis so that we as a collective can get through this tough times.

From The Gwaelod y Garth Inn, our love and appreciation of your support goes out to you all.
